Administrative Law Judge Kathleen Sheehy issued her route recommended February 8, 2012 for the Hampton-Rochester-La Crosse 345 kV transmission line in Minnesota. After reviewing the record, including public comments, she recommended a route detailed in the below maps, including crossing the Cannon River at the Byllesby Dam and the Zumbro River at the Zumbro Dam.

Although the judge recommended a route in her report, it is not the final route. Other route options are not exesmpt from consideration by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MN PUC) when making its final decision on the Route Permit application. The MN PUC will review the record and consider the judge's recommendation at a meeting in early spring 2012.
