Before transmission lines can be built several permits and approvals
must be granted by state and federal regulating agencies. As
part of the permitting process Environmental Reports and Environmental
Impact Statements are prepared, public meetings are conducted,
and hearings take place to receive testimony and comment. Over
the coming months CapX partners will be filing applications for
the approvals necessary for the transmission lines we propose.
In the regulatory pages of our web site we provide
- Brief summaries of the regulatory process in each state as
well as the federal permitting agencies.
- Copies of our applications
and other pertinent support information.
- Brief status reports
on progress through the permitting process
- Schedules of meetings
and hearings.
- Links to regulatory agency web sites.
